Recording finds from a field survey

You can help to increase the understanding of the Lincolnshire Wolds' heritage through taking part in surveys of the buildings, heritage features and open spaces in your area.

Undertaking surveys will help produce an invaluable resource, one that will be a record for future generations, will increase appreciation of our heritage assets and will help us to understand their local significance and importance. Through these surveys, you will be able to help to better define the special character of the place where you live.

Surveys can focus on themes such as vernacular buildings and archaeological earthworks. They all contribute to our sense of place but may not necessarily yet be recorded.
